Details for this Sundays Remembrance Parade is as follows.
Please note the following road closures:
- Church Street, Caerleon Remembrance Services 12.11.17 – Temporary road closure between 07:00 to 12:30hrs
- High Street, Caerleon Remembrance Services 12.11.17 – Temporary road closure between 07:00 to 12:30hrs
- Museum Street, Caerleon Remembrance Services 12.11.17 – Temporary road closure between 07:00 to 12:30hrs
All youth groups of Caerleon will form the main bulk of the parade: Air Cadets, Scouts, Cubs, Beavers, Girl Guides, Brownies, Rainbows. Those veterans that wish to march in the parade are more than welcome along with any current serving personnel. Those who wish to lay wreaths or crosses during the garden of remembrance service are more than welcome when invited to do so at the relevant time in the service.
The groups will be mustering at the common for 09:45 ready for the parade start at 10am.
The itinerary is as follows.
- 10:00 Road will be closed for the parade to form up and move off.
- 10:30 Garden of remembrance service.
- 10:55 Church service.
- 12:00 approx: Road closes again for the march back to the town hall.
