Pendragon House Bed & Breakfast

At Pendragon House, there’s more than a warm welcome where hosts Kathryn and Peter Hitching, not provide their guests with a comfy bed and filling welsh breakfast, but also a taste of Caerleon.

Underneath this inviting Bed and Breakfast runs a cobbled street, still visible through a trap door in the hall. Further underground there is evidence of ancient drains – linked to the nearby roman baths. There is also a medieval lintel, which is shared with the house next door, and a Georgian window. More recently, the house was used as a home for the group of Basque children who were escaping the ravages of the Spanish Civil War

Double and twin Guest rooms, Each with en-suite, are located on the first floor and tea & coffee facilities, wireless broadband, TV/DVDs and hair dryers are in all rooms.

Kathryn and Peter took possession of the property in 2007, and were open for business by 2009. Since then they have achieved the Visit Wales 4 star rating and have been awarded a Certificate of Excellence from Trip Advisor every year since the award was introduced in 2011

As one of their guests recently said..

Nothing’s too much trouble for Kath, and she’s also a mine of information, should you need it, an absolute jewel in Caerleon
