Caerleon Poppy Appeal

Every year the Royal British Legion lead the nation in commemorating and honouring those who have served and sacrificed. We remember those who lost their lives on active service in all conflicts; from the beginning of the First World War right up to the present day, as well as all those who have served and their families.

Each year, for 2 weeks leading up to Armistice Day, we distribute our paper poppies, badges and other merchandise to raise vital funds to help today’s Armed Forces community. And it wouldn’t be possible without our incredible supporters.

As we know, 2020 has been an extraordinary year for everyone. All charities have suffered. With the current Fire Break lockdown planned for 23 Oct, this lockdown period covers the whole official Poppy Campaign and as such, we will not be able to distribute our collection boxes around the village and set up Poppy Stalls. As with last year, we plan to cover the whole of the one-way system and wider areas with Lamp Post Poppies. This JustGiving page has been set up to allow individuals/companies to sponsor the Lamp Post Poppies or just to donate to this extremely worthwhile cause. The Caerleon Poppy Appeal Organisers thank you for your support.

Should you wish to Sponsor a Lamp Post Poppy please annotate this with your donation. Unfortunately, we are unable to allocate an exact lamppost at this point, however we will let you know which lamppost you sponsored.

Thank you
